We moved around often as a kid so I got to see many parts of this beautiful country. I graduated high school in northern VA and joined the Navy that September. Attached to an east coast sea-going fighter squadron I first deployed in the summer of 1987. After transitioning to an upgraded aircraft and being shorebound with airframe concerns, we were set to deploy in Aug 1990 on a regular Med cruise, plans were changed and we spent most of the deployment in the Red Sea in support of Operation Desert Shield/Storm. After the Navy, I moved to Colorado and attended CMC. I moved to the Salida area in July 2014.
 

In the last couple of years, Veteran issues and the lack of support by our past administrations have been a concern for me. 
Though I did not know Roy personally this foundation is a way we can all take care of each other.
