Assistant Secretary

 

My name is Haley Steimle and I was born in Louisville, KY in 1999 and have lived there my entire life until recently moving to Salida, CO. I’m currently enrolled at the University of Louisville online, studying Political Science with a track in Law and Public Policy. Once I obtain my Bachelors, I’m going to pursue a Masters in Public Administration and then go to law school. I work part-time at a law firm as a legal secretary and I am the vice secretary of this organization. I have a passion for influencing public policy and fighting for what’s right, which is why I’m so interested in this organization and the principles that govern it. Veteran suicide is an epidemic that can only begin to be addressed through crisis intervention and proper policy change on the local, state, and federal levels and I want to do all that I can to bring about that change.
